Within Vista there is a XP compatibility option that can be checked if you right-click on an executable or even, as I recall, the shortcut to said executable itself. Worth a look but doesn't always work.

Ah, yes I forget about this often because Microsoft is a run by a bunch of greedy sexys who can't even support their own MCSEs by sticking with kernel architectures that actually work and sexying people over with incompatible systems. But yeah, the compatibility mode should work with your current favorite client choice, if not MUSHclient is my recommendation.

P.S. Censoring myself is so much fun knowing that I'm keeping it clean while still implying the same word. Gotta love the new years drunkenness. Happy new year all, sorry Alshain.

Vista has an option that lets you emulate older versions of windows. I had to use this option to properly install zMUD on my vista machine.

My Zmud works just fine on Vista. I had to download the last version of it when I got my new machine.

I may pay the peanuts for Gmud if I get any confirmation that the mapper is less buggered and I make more of a habit of playing again.
