So, after... God only knows how long I've been gone... I come back to find Krychire is no longer the starting waste city. I'm in some kind of crazy, boxed in fox tribe town. (which is cool, I only remember their camp being like 10-12 rooms big, LOL!) However... after scrambling around with my tiny halfling who has like NO PE whatsoever... I can't find a way out :( Is there an exit to this place?!? I don't even know what the town is called, but there's some crazy moot thing to the north... ARGH!

To be honest the path to the Moot, and out of it through Moraksdal, is one of the most confusing places I had to learn. The north is awesome, but not one of the most newbie friendly environments.

My best advice without giving away any IC info, would be to try and use the mentor command to find someone to help you, or send a tell to someone you think might. My current character Shaamir, though not a northerner, would still be able to offer some guidance.

The only way I can get into the Moot is by the alias command of its full directions from the outside of the tribes, which Peso provided for me, and the only way I can get out is to recall/teleport away.

To get out of the newbie school keep heading up until you're either in a large mountain side clearing or you're in the school of necromancy (the room you exit into is a store room that's really gory). The mountain side clearing is Moraksdal, the school of necromancy is in Kol's Moot.

To get out of Moraksdal (mountain side clearing): head northeast as much as possible (if you can't go north east, go north or east) until you get to a mountain pass, then follow the mountain pass out.

To get out of Kol's Moot (the area above Moraksdal where the school of necromancy is located): get out of the school of necromancy and you'll be on The Wise and Munificent Council Avenue (it's bright pink), go south until you hit a gate and exit from it (the road changes names a few times, just keep going straight south). You're in the upper level of Moraksdal now. This is the tricky part where most people get lost. Easiest way to learn it: excessive use of the exit command. In every room hit the exit command, there will be two exits described as a trail; one will be the one you came from, the other is the way you're going. This will take you in a winding path down the mountain side, which is mostly south east first, then down, then southwest and down again. You'll find yourself in a wide mountain side clearing. Go east a few times and then north. Follow the mountain pass out.

We currently need new incarnations for the city maps: Krychire->Moraksdal/Kol's Moot, Collegium->Taslamar Academy, The Pens->Ayamaoan Academy, while not totally obsolete, the maps for Sith'a'niel and Kytar need some updating.
