The first competition was fun. Then came Emet/Aldric.
Please elaborate. What of him? He's online almost all the time?
I honestly want to understand, as I have not yet realized how the hero tournament is scheduled and what is required for one to become a Hero.
For example, what is it about logging for 48 hours that gives someone an edge over someone else?
Thanks in advance

Why?
I want to know why I'm wasting my time if others agree. If that is the case we'll just cancel it. If you're just being a smartass, well, stop. These things are a lot of work. I would enjoy it if more people took it seriously. I've tried to make things as fair as possible. I've got plenty of other faeces I can do.
Additionally, the above seems to be a constant state in SK. In my few brief conversations I've had with any imm, it seems as though there is a large amount of people that want the immortals to plan events and take an active part in the game, and when the immortals do so, there is an equally large amount of people that don't like the events and whine.
This leads many of our imm-staff to suffer from burnout and lose all desire to "meddle" with the affairs of us mortals, since we're such a thankless bunch anyway.
While, from an RP perspective, a character should realize that if a God decides something his own mortal word is meaningless, from an OOC perspective perhaps we should also realize that an Immortal is akin to a Game Master in your traditional table top game. Your game master will never ask you beforehand what kind of story you want to play, they will plan one and throw it at you and you're expected to cope.
It isn't much different here you know... so, perhaps some constructive comments of what you do not like in the current installment of an event might have better results?
Just a thought.
