I haven't played for half a year now, but unless a recent change was made allowing you to order while charmed, then I don't think so.

Considering I've never seen your character or know who she is, great RP, randomly charming someone and dropping them like you do with others. So drop the act, liar.

Who said anything about dropping from a city? I have done this to one person, because there had been a background for that. You OOCly biased your actions due to that incident? Goes to show the quality of your RP and how true your claims are here. I don't feel urged to explain in these forums why I came to charm you, but I ensure you that it was not to drop you of a city. Now, I would tell you to PM me so I can explain to you if you wanted, but apparently you are one of those people who will use that OOC info in the game, so don't even bother. I am out of this discussion, cause it makes me more sick of players like you.

Wouldn't it have been better just to make an entirely new post?

For D and them. Is releasing undead in a NON NEWBIE zone to occupy your opponents and let them utilize their full potential abuse of the code or such? Furthermore, do the NPCs physically walk back to their spawn, wreaking havoc on anything in their path ilke they used to or do they poof back to it like things you summon nowadays? Any input on this would be quite appreciated as there are two sides of it. Some for it, some against it.

Letting aggressive NPCs uncontrolled in a populated area is probably not something I approve of. Thats not just a newbie zone. Any starting city. Any portal stone. Any Inn.

As opposed to:
Your enemy's cabal HQ?

PERFECT!!

A wilderness encounter not within a league of a starting city or newbie zone?

GREAT!

Any area that isn't one of those mentioned above?

Probably fine.

Again, people are releasing undead to get their full HP pool, scripts, and tracking.

The control code turns these abilities off, necros releasing the undead to get these scripts back should be considered a bug.

They are working their way around the code.

I understand that. I really don't think I would condone it under any circumstances except I haven't seen it stated that doing this is exploiting a bug. I think its commonly known that undead become weaker while controlled by a necromancer. I would say that its one of those gray areas that will only be judged on the merits of the situation. I'm sure I've seen both sides of the issue, I just don't have a solution except to say that it will be judged on a case by case basis.

Ok, simply put it's a bug, it is a way for a player to circumvent the code, there should be no grey area, it should be or should not be.

You aren't the one with the power to claim bug it would seem, but by sheer definition it is an exploit of the code.

What's funny is that you keep stating it's a circumvention of the code, when Dulrik hasn't said anything one way or the other about that.

Is it circumvention of the code to have someone else cast a spell while you walk into a room with them following?

Is it circumvention of the code to decode what someone says because you're furied and your language skills go down the tubes?

Is it circumvention of the code to join an attacking group in a city, but only heal, so that you don't get outlawed?

The fact is that you, considering that you're not Dulrik, have no clue one way or the other whether this is "circumvention of the code." You're just talking out of your butt because you don't like it. It's obviously not against the rules because it's been debated many times (OMG like this thread!) But no one has ever been punished for it unless their actions violated another separate rule (IE: Newbie killing, or releasing NPCs into cities)
