I've always enjoyed Yalta's insane style of unbiased PK towards anyone. It leads to equal hate...and I think he's in the Dabi religion?

Anyway, what deters me are roving groups of pkers. People like Dabi are fine. But when it comes an OOC thing to PK (not rp, I completely understand if you make a character with a friend just because you guys enjoy rping together) together, its just ridiculous. That's always been what kept me from playing.

Yeah, I don't like getting PKed either, but how is it you can tell the difference between

Is it okay to have some of both? Isn't that what SK is about? Is it acceptable to say this group players does only one and everyone else the other? I have seen sub-standard RP from a few players, but I almost never see anyone that just doesn't have any RP at all. There's never been any way to free yourself completely from PK and on the same note there's no act that is more certain to create RP than the leading up to, rehashing of, recovery from, and actual instance of PK.

What deters me most from SK is how divisive players are with each other. Players being so quick to accuse. I see one community. I enjoy it when people remember that. Us and them is what we do inside the game. Outside of the game we should all be drawn together by the wonderful offerings we've given each other over the years. I wish it were easier to laugh about some of the shenanigans we've all put each other through in the game world.

The problem I have with people is when people determine they oocly don't like "x" so they set out to kill "x" and make their game life hell just because they can. That's what deters me. If people would actually act ICly instead of oocly, then it'd be a lot better, but no one can really do that. If we could, the game would be a lot better. I don't mind PK, but obsessive PK or "grief pk" just irks the hell out of me. Always has.

That's bullcrap. You're letting the attitude and actions of a handful of players taint your opinion of the entire player base. I know I don't do that and I know many people who don't either. And so do you.

No it's more the bad experiences outweigh the good, even when less in number. Just like you can be a loyal customer for years, but when something goes horridly wrong and the customer service.. isn't, you may move on. It's rather human nature.

On the other hand, why should you let a few unsportsmanlike players ruin your game. If you're otherwise having an enjoyable time, surround yourself with other characters and get the support necessary to hold your own. That and well, bullies need generally 1 of 2 things: 1 to be knocked down a notch or 2 be ignored, and they'll get bored. Ideally anyway. 8)

Yes, listen to her because Mehloncholy is the most unsportsman like player in the game.

I still don't get over how bad she snubbed me!

Enchanting's worse. There are at least a few interesting ways to maximize your leveling with most characters that at least keep you active.
