I'm sure this has been mentioned before and I have been reading the back forumns. BUT is it at all possible for us to get more aliases in the game?

You can get them through certain clients used to run the game. I know zMud offers you the ability to assign unlimited aliases (something I take advantage of). But I'm sure other free clients give that option as well. Someone who knows more about free clients would have to chime in. Do you use a client currently?

I'm using Gmud and it sucks. I am having a problem with getting the color to look like I want it to and message errors. :(

When this came up a while ago, it didn't seem likely that Dulrik would extend the limit. Your best bet is to either become more proficient at typing, o or use something like cMud/zMud, or MUSHClient.

I used MUSHclient before I bought zMud but couldn't remember how aliases worked on it. I never had a problem with the client though.

I like both MUSHClient and Wintin.

I prefer Wintin, but it's really annoying to play with SK because its variable command character is $, which means that any time you color code something you have to put two $$ instead of one, and you also can't write aliases that involve color. I spent a while trying to change that and never figured out how. And my hard drive crashed so I lost everything that I used with it.

As such, I switched to MUSHClient a while ago, even though it's less versatile in my opinion. You might want to try it out, maze. It's pretty easy to set up aliases and variables, two things that make playing SK -much- easier.
