I've never seen anyone get lost in Exile, be unable to find the bank, be unable to find weapons to train with, be unable to find your class trainers, have no idea where to level at any given point, have no understanding of what armor to wear for a certain class, have no idea what abilities actually will help them level, and I'll stop there for now.

I deal with these things all the time. I rp'd these problems with my current char (not knowing places I did OOCly). This is all besides the point though. None of this is at all on par with the subject at hand.

Let me put it this way, if any immortal really felt like it, they could watch you for a week and find some instance of multiplay to delete you for. Did you roleplay not knowing the layout of levelling zones too? How nitpicky do you really want to get?

No one is really questioning the deletion of the characters involved, it's the so-called permaban that is at question here. It matters very little in this instance, however next time it may be you or someone else that actually wants to play this game :P

I welcome anyone that wants to watch me, and if they find me using any info that I should not be using with my character, I invite them to delete my character and siteban me. I'll get as nitpickity as you want. I know well that there are people out there that don't cheat. There are just a bunch of people who do cheat, and admit it, like you, and these two under discusion (though in my opinion what they did is far worse than any of the things you listed. You do have to be 18 or have a guardian sign a release for you to play an 'adult' game.)

{edit} Not trying to be harsh, just discussing this. Also trying to make sure I am clear, which I am not sure yet that I am.

One time a half-elf did a centaur and they didn't even get sitebanned for a short time.

We all asked, but the imms said, "neigh."

One time, there was no actual mudsex involved, and the player of that half-elf took a whole lot of [REDACTED].

Now it's the happening thing to do IC - with TONS of mudsex!!! She was a revolutionary, that half-elf.

:P

Deletion is acceptable, site ban was too much, simply put you need to be consistent with punishment.

There's been no standard for consistency for this offense because nobody has ever committed it before. This is the first time we've had an infinite XP bug. I vow to consistently site-ban anyone else who finds one and abuses it. Deletion is not a punishment for throw-away characters. Site ban is the only punishment that would actually BE a punishment for this offense.

I'm glad you all took notice of the issue. I hope everyone has learned what not to do in the future.

Leveling in SK makes me want to kill myself, had I known about this bug I would have abused it myself.

Obviously again it falls to having this huge gap between what we as players and what dulrik feels is important.

Actually, as part of the playerbase I disagree.
