Yeah. I always enjoy solo PK much more than group PK, but if you're going to do solo PK you need to do one of two things.

Pick the right class.

Be prepared to lose some fights.

Yeah Syn sucks, but since she has beaten you, what does that mean about you?

I think that some of you forget what it's truly like to be new
here. It is not as easy for some of us to obtain the scrolls, potions
and what not for those of us not familiar with the game. When I
have been given or bought potions they were stolen before I
could use them. I am not complaining, I know this is a big part
of the game for most of you. It just isn't as easy as most muds
that I have played in the past.

Obviously learning the game well is going to have to be the first step on any character who wants to PK well. I haven't learned much about the game because I'm happy to be a sidekick and let others worry about that kind of things (in all of the trips to the Temple of Murder and the Iron Citadel I've been on, I couldn't get myself there if my life depended on it). Support classes make wonderful sidekicks (all I've ever played seriously are priests). If you don't want to be a sidekick though, you're going to have to spend a good amount of effort and time into learning the ins and outs of where things come from and what they do.
