The intention of this spell is completely lost on a good majority of the playerbase:

Which is why those actions should be punished OOCly, if the punishment is not available IC.

When something has been used wrongly for so long, I feel it'd be a bit unfair to start punishing the player base for it now (ie the player of Klee). I'd be fine with it if a clear announcement was made both in the game news and on the forum to make it clear the purpose of the final strike spell and what punishments will be given for those who try to avoid the consequences from this point onward.

Really, I just hate seeing people driven away from the game. We don't need any more sitebans either.

I certainly agree that Klee shouldn't be punished, but I am open for clearer rules being stated for future actions.

But... this is the mentality that frustrates me. Ask yourself, honestly, how much fun you have in any game where a small handful of players ruin your gaming experience. If said players are not there, don't you have more fun? DnD is not the same with "Ed" around, is it? And because it's not, you don't invite him again. Your group gets smaller, but you play more. SK has always been a more elitist-type game, where fewer players playing more. If we let Ed play and be disruptive, than Joe, Mary, and Jane will stop playing as much (if at all), leaving Ed playing until you bring new friends who are driven away. Until Ed is removed, the problem remains. I'd rather have 30 people on SK, then 300 if I knew most of the playerbase wasn't full of "Ed"s.

Just so you know my comment was completely facetious, it was my intention to sound serious in order to [REDACTED] of Syn some more.

I RPed my way the hell out of this. I'm sorry you're bitter, or even jealous, but honestly, it's not that common for a sorc to have to wait two weeks for an IMM rez. I think you're the first I've ever heard of. Most of them had to wait a day or less, that I've heard of. I had to wait a few days myself. I'm sorry for whatever reason you had to wait for two weeks, but for me the situation was different and a LOT of RP came out of it.

I didn't have to wait. I was offered an IMM-ress the DAY AFTER, and I declined it.

What does that tell you?

This tells me u am silly.

It SHOULD tell you that I roleplayed anyway because I found the situation required a bit more than a frivolous ZOMGHAIIMBACKNAO.

The RP required for my FS was done before the spell was even cast. I didn't have to negotiate for my return.

Soemthing about everyone QQing about death being pointless in SK.

I'll leave its description up to the developers.

Also, syn, I hope you're feeling better with whatever you're telling yourself is having a life now. You did not seem very happy at any point during this thread. :P
