Most of those so called changes that vets like to do, involve an Imm. So by you stating that those people know how to deal with the Imms and so vast experienced in speaking with Imms gives them an edge over others.

That is the very core of the problem.

Lets just say, that in seven year of playing I have never seen a vet leader get shot down for any idea. Ever.

I would agree that in some (rare) cases, ascension to leadership involves imm involvement (favoritism?). MOST of the time, however, the same people are becoming leaders in the same way that cream rises to the top. They're well-suited to the job.

And part of being suited to the job is wanting leadership in the first place ... (you see what I did there?)

I totally understand that. But I mean we have had the same old cereal for years. The same people rising up in under 100 hours gaining leadership over people who have play hundreds of hours. Why not just sit back and try a few different kinds of cereal perhaps we might find something that we like instead of just sticking with one kind.

That's just not true. I know of plenty examples in which relatively new players received leadership. You just need to accept the fact that some players are better than you.
