The problem isn't that they don't play, the problem is that they didn't tell me when they play ahead of time so I could meet up with them. The character is no more, so I'll be working on something else if I feel like playing again.

I'm about to make a priest of dabi, if I don't hear back from a HF within 30 seconds I will not even make it... :rant:

I learned of SK about 6 days ago, have only been truly trying to learn and get my feet under me for 5 days. Four of those I've run across at least two members of the Ashlain faith, one of which I know is able to induct.

I don't know anyone well enough to know their personalities or what have you, but with minimal effort on the part of those seeking the faith its actually quite easy to find someone.

I enjoyed my encounters with these folks immensly since they were entirely RP.

Goodness. I've waited months for an investment on a priest (was mentor and couldn't even learn resurrect! lol). Even with an active HF they have two weeks to get to you.

Lies. Priests and paladins should be inducted immediately if they fit the bill. Other laity are 2 week possibly, and 2 weeks applies to cabals and tribunals.

The post was 5 days old, the character was nearly 2 weeks old. I tried to find an HF in game for a week first, then posted here with no responce from an HF on when they play. That's all I was asking for was a time frame to meet up with someone, and since I couldn't get that my character became useless since I couldn't use any of his spells, and my RP was going no where.

As I said before, I know people are busy this time of year, I don't mind waiting on an investment, but I do mind not being told how long I'll have to wait.

At least we don't have another paladin with a "the world owes me a favor" mentality running around. If you were really interested in joining Alshain, you would have actually put some decent effort into it (Just asking other players ICly who the HFs are should have got you some answers very easily, even most evil characters know who the HFs of Alshain are).
