Yes, you want to target the character name. On a side note, I've had the following happen to me in that area a few times (not an actual quote):

Quote:
c 'depetrification' aanu

you start to concentrate

A golem turns Bill Kourney to Stone!!
Bill Kourney is dead!!

You utter the magic words
Bill Kourney has been transmuted back to the flesh!


Notice me turning Bill back even though I specifically targetted Aanu

Yeah, it would seem that depet is just cast in the room without arguments actually, I've noticed the same Aldric.

Does this bug occur if Bill was already a statue before you began casting? If so, the depetrification spell might not be obeying passed arguments. Try without the single quotes, perhaps? It's a single word spell so it doesn't need them.
