I'm pretty sure that everyone knows the update he's working on. It has to do with things I've stressed before and the update in question is likely a precursor step to the dual membership goal that's been kicked around time and time again. The groups in the game will have to endure some big overhauls before we see the final results, but we're getting there. ETA? This is SK, remember bards? I hope we're looking at the next important step in the next few months. No promises here. I know there were some people hedging their bets on the whole idea, but I'm sold that the system will be an overall improvement to the game. Truly player led factions are something that will eventually be a reality.

I'm hoping the new changes encourages me to play more. For some reason I just can't find the right character to stick with. :(

Oh, and the oathbreaker flag isn't complete stoppage of joining another cabal, you can still do it you just have to ask for help. Any leader can ask Imm to have an oathbreaker character inducted into their group. I was probably one of the first, if not the very first, person to go through it and I think it took like 5 minutes at most. It's really not a big deal.

I think that is the point Fridge. If it is no big deal, then why have it at all?

Was this recent? As far as I am aware, as a general policy we do not remove Oathbreaker flags without the occurrence of massively extenuating circumstances.

The last time I tried which was years ago, even getting back into the same cabal was near impossible.

It's pretty easy to get back into the same trib/cabal now (or the "associated" group). Or at least, when I was active in the Hand people were constantly jumping in and out of it. Other groups is a completely different story.

From my personal experience, it took me several IRL months to get back into the Fists.

Then its because they required the Rp from you and not the mechanics.

I only know of two current characters who have "cabal" jumped, and it took them months, nearing on a year (IRL) to get it, and lots of RP and IMMtervention.

But I see Hammer/Peacekeeper, Fist/Talon, or Druid/Guardian jumps once a month or so... still not easy, but possible.
