I think it would be fun to play something that wasn't considered the best, sure you'd suck at everything, but sometimes it's okay to suck. i guess its just the way you think about it, i'd personally play something that stunk just for the rp fun of it.

All I can say is I think halflings are to civil to be shamans or Barbians. I don't see any reason why they can't be sorcerors though.

I thought there was some in-game history behind halflings doing the magic thing... and coming up with necromancy?

You keep spouting this line of crap because you read it in Tolkien but have you actually been to the halfling villages in the game? Some of them are pretty savage.

The one up north especially. I don't know why there aren't shamans in it.
