It takes a capable player less than 5 minutes to make 5 obsidian. Unless the cost is very high,it's irrelevant. If you're telling me that I'll have a perma-pet that I can take anywhere, time to roll trib with a class that can have charms for unbalanced gameplay.

Perhaps maybe there would be, you know, some standards and accountability within the tribunal itself.I know for a fact I would get in trouble if I brought my swashbuckling best buddy with me if there wasn't a decent reason already.
The cost is not gold, the cost is tarnishment for doing it wrong.

...Besides. Certain law NPCs are already making appearances in Teron lately and are racking up debt for it. It makes sense they should be allowed to fight back :P

What you're saying makes no sense to me. The reason would be to PK someone, why else? My responses were based on a state of war, which is what I assume this topic is about.

those are great ideas and would make good changes mr Achernar

potentially throw in a level restriction comparison (if not already in effect), for example a fresh newbie under level 20 who joins a Tribunal (nothing wrong with that as young cadet) may not be able to command the marshals in the kingdom

otherwise people in cabals take their powers anywhere with no restrictions, and some of them are extremely powerful at that -- as long as it's exercised in the line of duty

It would effectively make Teron a war zone. Which it should be.

I think if guards were allowed into Uxmal as a whole, then there would need to be a few other changes made.
1. MC being able to bring their guards to their HQs.
2. A buffing of some sort to the Harlequins, as they'd be the ones who would get completely effed by this.

Maybe I'm overlooking something, but how are they getting effed? Other cabals have to put up with tribs bringing NPCs after them, too

Nearly every other cabal has a kingdom they're closely related to with a tribunal that is usually helpful towards them. And of course someone could argue that point, and if any cabal doesn't at any time, than that cabal is doing a poor job of diplomacy.
