I can see where you are coming from, but I still think that a portion of your observation is based on a misconception. There is a tendency when it comes to alliances, you are right about that one. What I don't agree with, is that it is the outcome of CRS (they existed long before the system was implemented) and that said alliances are set in stone.

I know for a fact, that I've tried to take the Crucible away from the threeway alliance you just described. My biggest problem was and is, people not being able to think a little outside the box. All too often, the Crucible is just viewed as Adeptsv2 and people will prefer sticking to old alliances, rather than taking a risk and trying out something new.

I wish that would change. If it did, the game would be far more interesting.

I'm not against divisions along those lines. That seems like a fairly easy conclusion to reach. I'd rather see them fighting than hiding from each other. CRS gives a group of players something to do and it may be a pain, but I believe people are playing in the system and player counts have responded positively to the activity from what I can tell over the past few weeks.

Crucible is seen as Adept v2 because Adeptv1 was often filled with people who spam-enchanted their eq and gathered loot all day...and the Crucible is the same.

You never know.... you don't log in enough to really put a big impact on the game.

Just 90% of them when the Crucible first got their spells, not 100% ;).

There was still...peso, ardith, rial, and me outside of the Crucible at that point. Everyone else was in :P.
