What determines an elementals HP? Character constitution? Character constitution and HP? Character constitution and HP and ME? I've heard all three, does anyone know for certain which it is?

Do elementals return a portion of the exp they gain for killing things to the warlock? Much in the same way that animates do for necromancers?

I've heard that many classes had their HP trains redone, apparently classes now get fewer HP trains along with ME trains, but training both increases the regeneration rate of the respective trains as well? Is this correct?

My understanding of elemental HPs is that it's based on con, and wis.

No, they don't. Hence, it's a good idea to order it to stance defensive. It'll have more survivability that way anyways.

I don't know about having the quantity of trains redone, but there was some small bit of regeneration boost given to the pools affected by ME, PE, and HP trains. You don't need to train both to get the boost, just the stat you're interested in training. I.E., training ME will give you a slight ME regen bonus.

I was not aware that you could order pets into stances. That works?

I don't know for sure, but I always thought that elemental HP was based on the HP of the caster: So CON and HP (And carry around HP mods), never heard about the ME part.

In recent past, I don't think that any class has taken hits to how much HP or ME they can train except barbs (They lost 10 points so they can now train MR if they happen to be masochostic). However, you are right in that training HP, ME or PE does increase the respective regen for that stat: So if you were choosing between WIS and ME and were planning on modding the lower one, I'd suggest training ME and then get WIS mods as opposed to vice versa.

I can't recall whether or not elementals can be ordered into stances. I'd guess so. Just make it defensive and see if it gets less attacks.

Yes, it does. You can order pets to stances and modes, but not aims.

As far as I know, elemental HPs depend on caster's CON and WIS. Perhaps Caster's HP also plays a role, but not sure.

I've always been of the impression that elemental hp was just based upon the warlock's hp and mana - which in turn of course is based partly upon the warlock's con and wis.
