A ghostly voice whispers in your ear: 'Latitude 21, longitude -9.'

I have no idea how latitude and longitude in SK work, I'd assume Latitude is East-West and Longitude is North-South, and that like on a graph, negative numbers would indicate south and west, and positive would be north and east. But.. for instance with these coordinates, that would indicate it being 9^S and 21^E on a sextant, but those coordinates don't exist.. the map only goes to 4^S at the furthest point... Is latitude and longitude completely opposite in SK or is this a bug?

Someone enlighten me please!

Edit: The only place of interest I found, traveling to all of the possible coordinates with 9 and 21 was Menegroth.. Which is at "Your iron sextant reads: 21^N, 9^E" And if that was the intended destination.. The way latitude and longitude is used in SK is completely wacky.

Latitude is north-south and longitude is east-west, for one thing.

Your directed location should be ^21N, ^9W, by normal Lat-Long coordinates. Don't forget that there are multiple rooms to any given sextant coordinate pair.

Ergh yeah, I've been wracking my brain over this for too long, got em backward, but still I am confused because Menegroth was the only pace of interest I found.. Absolutely nothing in the nine rooms in the west, I'll keep up the search though.

And thanks.. cause I've been second guessing myself so much trying to find out what this means lately, I honestly just thought I completely forgot what longitude and latitude is, cause I've looked around for every possibility. Somethings gotta be wrong though..

First, go to this page:
http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/worldmap/index?grid

Second, right-click the map if you see something interesting

Third, check just below the map for the long/lat coords of where you clicked.

:)

In Google Chrome it causes a sudden spike in memory usage, of about 1.4 GB. Gah! Not sure what happens with fire fox. After about 30 seconds it crashes and frees up that memory however.
