What pisses me off is at mentor a priest is hard pressed to heal a gm poison cast, yet mentor sorceror could land a CP with less effort. It seems backwards to me.

You shouldn't be able to quaff cancellation while charmed. That should kind of be obvious.
It should also be obvious that charm shouldn't land this easily. It's an "I win" spell, and it is one of the most difficult spells to save against, period. To top it off, it has minimal casting time.

I tested Jaeyds enchants against ailee and she tried like 50 times before she finally charmed him.

Does Ailee have any art? How much WP do you have?

I guarantee a 14 art GM caster vs 30 or less willpower will land much more frequently than this. And 30 should be a lot of WP.

Either you have an outrageous amount of wp or mr, or Ailee doesn't have a lot of art. . .unless by "50 times" you meant "10 times."

Ailee needs one more train in art I believe, I am horrible for keeping track of that kind of thing.

EDIT: although I could be wrong. also has maxed CHA for a sprite.

Remove charm for Player Characters.

Noone could land a charm on jaeyd on the last suit he had.

It was pretty amazing. And see, that means charm CAN be beat... just isn't easy.

Yeah. . .charm needs to be nerfed.
Because it -should- be easy to resist a spell that completely owns you if it lands, and has minimal casting time. I'm sure my old MR suits would have resisted fifty charm attempts, but that doesn't mean that charm is balanced.
