Okay mister "There's only one way to steam milk, I know because i was a barrista."

I drink black coffee too, and happen to think that any beverage that requires steamed milk is "queer." Which was not an attack on GAYS but an attack on people who drink queer coffee beverages.

As in "strange" or "unconventional." It is not an uncommon use of the word.

When someone writes 'queers in san francisco drinking lattes' its pretty clear what they are referring to in the parlance of our time, however obtuse you care to be after someone calls you on it.

Lets just drop it and bring back the <3.

only kills them if they are dumb enough to follow. If they are not dumb, then they are still alive. Also escaping once doesnt mean that you will next time. Considering you have not given an effective way to really accomplish the task, I will conclude that it is merely prolonging the inevitable. The question still stands how to kill a prepared sorc before they charm you.

One does not have to be dumb to follow into a no-magic room. Do you know every no-magic room's location? 100% of them? Are you sure? Sometimes the thrill of the hunt over-rides common sense. If this helps someone escape, more power to them. But if it doesn't, it doesn't mean that said sorc will not do it again and again to someone.

It may be prolonging the inevitable, but there are a few things that can be done in a no-magic area to give someone a little bit of help. I've not been in the situation personally, so I cannot speak from experience, but I can think of at least one thing that could be done while sitting in a no-magic room.

But yes, the question still stands, if they are prepared how does one kill them?

I'll drop it after stating that I would have said queers no matter what city you happened to work in. Not my fault you lived in [REDACTED] mecca.

Maybe the answer here, is to make a voodoo cannon shaman, and just attempt to keep the sorc population down from a distance.

:edit: Typo... voodoo cannon shaman*

So yeah I was wondering about how many ways different characters can "defend" against Charm Person as-is.

Its just a matter of enchanted gear, I guess?

Scrolls have less of a cast time than charm person.

This is how everyone PKs, guys. It's not exactly rocket science.

Why do I have visions of a coyote holding a doll shoving himself into a cannon that says ACME on the side of it?

Parnys, we know this is "how everyone PKs", we want to know how to defend from it. Suggestions?

Myself, I'm liking the idea above...someone needs to make a coyote-looking shaman that attribute stacks for voodoo. Then just sit in a relative safe area and voodoo away.
