Personally I think characters of any aura shouldn't hang around with there is large PvP, it's not unreasonable to assume information is being passed.

That's not always possible, but it is a good rule of thumb. Sometimes people will warn a lowbie of trouble about, but not every time. Cross-fire killings are going to happen.

Thanks guys, I actually feel a lot better about this. I knew when I was rolling a paladin that I would likely be involved in PK, just didn't realize it would start so soon.

Sorry for whining, was just a big upset about pk getting in the way of rp.

You should try to grow a tougher skin, this stuff is going to happen.

Just so y'know, last time I rolled a Paladin, I was PK'd at Novice for going to meet the Knight I was supposed to be squired to at the Hammer HQ, by one of the Hammers themselves. A case of mixed-up adjectives. It seems Paladins never have the luck.

In my experience, some of these moments have created some of the best memories in the game. We can choose to see it as an opportunity to build more facets into our character. If you really feel shafted, please email any IMM a log.

This sort of thing happens. I remember while playing Destrivai I tracked an elf down that had the same adjective as an enemy of mine and proceeded to kick his teeth in. I realised after he died in one hit that it was a newb. I felt bad.

I dunno this sort of thing just seems to happen.

I RPed with damn near every ghost I killed as Benjamin, I guess thats what seperates the men hellions from the boys!
