Okay, so I know this is completely off-topic, but maybe the issue with the giant there bashing you even though he isn't in the room is related to the taunt issue in the start of the thread?

Jesus, way to derail! Someone delete all the comments which HASN'T got to do with the pressing issue of why that bash didn't cause any damage to a very well-armored priest!

Addendum: On an actually helpful note, I cannot help but notice that a bandalore was used in both logs... Perhaps that has something to do with this (read: not taking damage from bashes!!11``)

So.. what you're saying is the bandalore is in fact bugged and causes targets of the person wearing it to not take damage from bashes?

AHM SO CONFUSED!!111~

I'm beginning to have trouble distinguishing sarcasm from actual comments by now :(

Mostly because so many actual posts have been so dumb.

The giant bug is totally different from the taunt bug. And yes, the whole assertive bit without compromise is getting old.

Your armor was full of pillows or full of marshmallows. Your armor did what it was supposed to do, it took the damage for you. See my post on the first page. I don't think this is a bug, he just knocked you on your butt, but you didn't get hurt from it. Haven't you ever slipped and fallen and not gotten hurt (aside from ego)? Same principle.

If I'm wrong about this, and it actually is a bug, then I retract any tone inferred in this. But, again, I don't think it is a bug as I believe bash checks first on knockdown and second on damage (similar to headbutt). Though this is open to correction.

The armor that has superior when Identified or lore generally protects you from damage from bash. The bash will still stun you but there is no damage. This was brought up a while back just do a search for it.

So, is this a confirmation on what I'm trying to say? That a no-damage bash is not, in fact, a bug but a feature?

...The fact that the bash did no damage was never considered by anyone to be a bug in the first place.

I had thought that point was settled a long time ago.

This is what I was reposting the non-damage info on, ObjectivistActivist. Evidently someone did think that was the bug, unless I read the statement wrong, which is possible.
