You just get the echo that says that the jailor delivered you food and water. At least, in Exile, that is. Which was my last imprisonment(10 days, woohoo!)

Why if you auto surrender they still beat the [REDACTED] out of you, shouldnt they just haul you off?

Seriously, no. My character is too smart to be caught doing naughty things, at least for now.

I got sent to jail twice as Eyrios. Once when I was helping to defend Nerina, and once when I was training in the Northern Wastes(didn't know I was in a law zone). And then I got sent to jail in Exile recently with my delf alt. I got plagued and couldn't move, so I attacked a Peacekeeper.

Jail time comes with a cure of the plague, apparently.

Yeah, can't have those that are in there for a year term with plague contaminating those that only have to serve a one week sentence. Unless every criminal gets their own jail cell, but I don't think this is the case from what I've heard.
