Actually I don't think so. On my hammer warriors stacking INT beyond racial max helped when holding spells and in melee. Take it as you will.
(Hopefully not personally, Turon =p)

I'd be very surprised if that was the case: I'd be more inclined to think that you were increasing it to your racial maximum when you really thought your INT was already maxed.

When I get the desire I will test this and then I will laugh at you.

Sure I take my reprimands just like anyone else. To the OP: try maxing your INT.
