I've been trying for two days now to find the priestess Tashalei in Sith'a'neil for the first quest from Aphras. The game tells me she's in the residential area, and I have searched near and far and only found generic houses with identical male and female elves in them. I have also looked in the main city and in the trading bough, and I haven't seen her.

I know the quest you are talking about. She's there, in a house, at least, when I was doing the quest.

The forums is not the place to request in-game information.

It is, however, perfectly acceptable to contact other characters in-game as your character and seek assistance that way. See the help text for TELL in particular.
