Shattered Kingdoms

This spell is ridiculously cheap and OP, and is rarely, if ever, used as it is intended. It should be removed, and nothing should replace it, as anyone who has been paying attention knows that sorcs are just fine without it.

Final strike is necessary in SK to keep people who invest time in their armor via enchantments in check with next to no penalty to the caster.

I've only ever been hit by two final strike spells. Both were from the same team. I almost always see it before it happens to and have even had a sorcerer try to do it against my group and hit nothing but thin air.

Still, removing this spell and giving nothing in return will still make the sorcerer the top of the food chain.

Yeah, but you heard what Achernar said. Final strike and voodoo are necessary to keep hoarders in check. Right? RIGHT?! lol

I define a hoarder by someone who has something that I want. If they meet that criteria then they are a hoarder.

I'll use it in a sentence. The only hoarders I know of are Ardaran, Mykka and Ealuriel.

It takes next to no time to energize a sorcerer to master. Then they get to throw it away with final strike. Rinse and repeat.

The spell is so overpowered and causes so much grief, it should no longer exist, or at least, if you are so insistant on keep this, can you make an echo during the charge up?

lol I'm joking but with the senior imm wanting this game to be hardcore I guess nothing I say will make a difference, oh well.

I like it. As a mage, even if you don't learn it, it can still freak people out if you claim to be about to use it. I guess I'm lucky I was only hit by it once, the old Faerti incident. I still find that hilarious and thought it was a great use.

"But if you final strike you won't be able to get a rez?"

"I'm not worried, I'm sure I can invent some RP lameass reason to get a rez from an Imm. After all, why would they give me a sure way to kill all my enemies with one spell which requires absolutely no skill or class to execute if they didn't want me to use it?"

"But isn't it kind of lame? You just walk in and kill everyone within 2-3 seconds or something?"

"No way! It's lame that they keep killing us and we can't do anything about it. They're OP and cheaters and I'm gonna FS them!"
