The bonuses for giant strength and frenzy for all skills, and damage openers (cleave, charge, ambush) should be added in *after* the damage multiplier is applied to a weapon's damage, as well as the bonuses for any two handed weapons applied to strength and mood aggressive bonuses. As it stands now the damage for any of these attacks increases *dramatically* once these things are used, and it really brings no extra tactical ability to the table. These skills are capable of dropping mercenaries and other high hp classes that wear heavy armor with no problem.

I don't see this as actually putting much of a wimp on the class of rogue because the class has far more ability in PvP than most every other class in the game. Otherwise I suppose we the playerbase can just amuse ourselves with the nearly unbeatable tactic of follow xxx; backstab xxx

If rogues do not have large amounts of damage no caster will take them seriously.

Show me a log of "dropping mercenaries no problem" please.

Finger of death can hit over 1200 HP's in a single shot.

Just because you are a mercenary doesn't mean you shouldn't have a wimpy of at least 35%. Which probably would have solved the "problem" in this particular log linked.

Let me see if I understand what Ardith wants: Rogues should not be able to kill mercenaries in 3 rounds.

Should they still be able to kill magically-vested sorcerors/priests/shamans/hellions in follow;bs? HMMM?

The crazy thing about rogues (And I know this sounds SO CRAZY) is that if you know they're coming, you can prevent backstab. There are even very easy ways to prevent foll xxx; backstab xxx!

Crazy, I know, but my sources tell me that it's true!

Its so rediculously simple to prevent a back stab that its stupid. No pet needed no guards just one simple act. I know if I say what it is though all the rogues wil be pissed so I wont, but trust me, its something incredibly simple
