But stopping quaffing altogether? That seems really lame and screwed up: Was it really impossible to stop escape without stopping all potions altogether? And on everyone in the room outside your group, good lord.

Also, unless that severe penalty is a heavy damage Edrain (Making you lose AT LEAST half a level), it isn't heavy enough.

I feel like I should change my signature back to "Stop putting overpowered things into the game." Not everyone can log on during one-time quests, and giving obscene rewards like that for anything is over the top. At least it isn't as bad as the cube, though.

Who said anything about outside your group?

And not being on at the time of the RP is -no- excuse in this case. This item has been in the game for something like four months and has changed hands countless times.

Oh yeah, never mind about the outside your group part. Though I'd wager that this is probably not going to stay in the game long now if it's really a one-time item.

I -might- be able to tweak it to get rid of the no-quaff thing - if it sticks around long enough.

If its suppose to be a one-time item then thre should be no need since its been used! After its used it should auto evaporate or explode

It's a one-time quest reward (that lighties initially got I might add and would have been gone if junked) that has VERY restricted usability and severe penalties. Granted the heal quaffing block wasn't something I intended, but couldn't be avoided.

Um, you told me to hold onto and take care of it, so I did. Then one day it magically disappeared from my inventory...not cool!

Maybe someone stole it? I never gave it out again.

Dunno, I doubt it since I kept it in my mantle and didn't die since then. Strange.
