Through a focused state of mind, a barbarian is able to focus his tendencies of raging and apply that energy into even more powerful maneuvers.

I have yet hear a good reason on why Barbs can't be in the Fist, aside from it being tradition. Wait, tradition isn't a good excuse anymore

Actually, it is no more or less of tradition than not letting necros in the Druids. D, said that barbs will never be allowed in the Fist, and therefore the tradition started.

Rule turned into a tradition because Fisties created their own reason why they wouldn't allows barbs into the Fist. So, yes it isn't the tradition but the precursor thereof
