ok, that's it, i'm throwing it out there. I'm Xonin. I am High Follower of Dulrik as a SQUIRE. Since I'm High follower, I actually have the divine right to knight myself. I was going to do so when I turned 21 in game. 5 years of life and what not. i wanted it to be on the exact day of my birthday, but now i don't give a flip, forget this thread was ever here

You asked a COMPLETELY irrelevant question, and were told - by everyone - to make up a damn day to fit your RP needs. You don't want to do that, that's your own issue. There was no "cause" for this thread. You, apparently, DO want to celebrate your character's birthday. The year of his birth is insufficient, and you feel some great need to know the specific day. My assumptions are, thus, correct.

Guess what? You're not the first PC to ever get stuck as a squire. I think you might be the first to knight himself, though. Have fun with it.


I'd be HIGHLY disappointed if some IMM took the time out of important, relevant SK business to tell you exactly what time and date you created your character so that you can plug it into the calculator. GET THE [REDACTED] OVER IT.

I created my character at a certain day in the in-game year. FACT. that is by birthday. FACT. if i pick a "reasonable" day to be my birthday, and it isn't my birthday, then that day being my birthday, NOT FACT.

IMMs, could one of you just send me the birthdate of my character in a PM or something.

The way I see it, Pyrathia's culture is different than ours. In Pyrathia, nobody cares about birthdays. The culture is that way because we never made our characters make a big deal about it.

I can see a few reasons for this. My character actually does use the birthday for certain RP events. One main reason I would like to see something like this personally is for those of us that play a character to age death and would like to plan ahead for some type of RP around the death. To simply guess could have the character keel over during the middle of the RP, to give a rough estimate (maybe simply the month) would enable those that want to use the information the chance to plan accordingly.

How about a toggle option that would make the information visible to those who want it? If you don't want it, don't use the toggle.

Please, Evena, if you speak your opinion, do not include everyone in it. Not all of us agree with you or anyone else here, we are individuals capable of thinking for ourselves and deciding things we want and do not want.
