I was supposed to go TAD to a school but I did not get the funding I needed. So I rolled a new main and retired the necro.

Sling is ninja. I've defended Nerina (with Tagg) against a necro and 20 wraiths with a sling. Hell, I would spec with sling if I rolled a merk.

Although not instigated by this thread, it is kinda relevant:

I just closed a TYPO report that highlighted some contradictions in the help files. THROW, SLING and SHOOT have had some minor corrections to clarify that giants are the only ones to get ranged attack (with boulders), etc.
