I'm sure none of us would want to get attacked by someone using NPCs that are due to some unknown reason nearly immune to physical damage.

I wouldn't mind it if I went up against a scout who was using one of these uber unhittable pets.

If I were melee, I'd just grab a reaching weapon. If I were caster, I'd kill it with petrification scrolls or simple spell damage.

I'd actually much rather have to deal with the lion in this log than the normal lion, which does pretty impressive damage. Either way though, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm unstoppable, and have nothing to fear from any scout, unhittable tame or not.

In conclusion, Sakhul's faerie "golden rule" is full of fail.
