OOC on Cabal Channels is forbidden, actually. There's still a line of relevancy, though, IMO.

I don't actually care to know every minute detail about everything your character is doing, and if you're using CB in this manner in a faction of which I am a member, I'm very likely going to tell you to hush.

I enjoy idle chatter and relevant topics both. Conversation is one of the chief attracting factors in a game, for me. It is one of the main reasons why I really enjoy Cabals/Tribunals, because it is about as close as you can get to a global channel.
