A Cozy Bedroom
This rectangular room stays pleasantly warm and dry at all times, thanks
to the large ceramic hearth which burns in its southeast corner. The scent
of honeyed wildflowers hangs in the air, as though from incense burned not
so long ago. A king-sized bed dominates the room's western half, but even
the floor is strewn with a great many plump feather pillows - to the point
where its tiled border is nearly obscured. The pillows are most numerous at
the center of the room, where they encircle a great animal-skin rug. Behind
delicate sheer curtains, a tall plate-glass window stands in the north wall.
The rest of the walls are papered with simple floral designs in yellow
ochre, though panels of artwork hang over much of their surface area.
Obvious exits: s(closed)
A shortsword has been left here.
This iron tinderbox appears to be waterproof.
A polished full-length mirror stands to one side of the door.
A wooden chest-of-drawers stands to one side of the door.
A small nightstand rests beside the enormous bed.
(Charmed) A golden-furred male lion is here, confidence in his step.

I fell asleep for a little while and I guess the repop for the Inn I'm in made this door misbehave. I'm very happy I have my lion, else I would be fairly unhappy having to recall all the way across the realms. Can we figure out a way to resolve this? It makes no sense at ALL.

The room is located in the Roaring Lion Inn, in Teron, if you happened to be wondering.

I know some doors are one way doors, a lot without keys too, but if you used a key to get in, unless looking at the door reveals that side has no keyhole specifically, that does seem odd.

Might want to return to that room, duplicate the scenario, and use the 'bug' command to log the room it's in.

Already did. I was hoping to hear something back, but perhaps they are busy this evening.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold out hopes of hearing back about it. Don't think I've ever gotten a reply to a bug log myself, and I can swear I remember hearing somewhere that the bug logs are checked on a weekly basis (or I just made that up, anyone?).

Also, I can only imagine the amount of back-logs they must have to sort through still, or ones that get tossed aside (which reminds me of something I should check back into now too as it got tossed aside before).

We don't usually reply to bug logs afaik. I mean sometimes, if we're online at that very moment and not building AND it happens to be something we can take care of. I'd also keep in mind that your bug log is usually only checked by the KD for the area you reported it in.

Ahhhhh, I seeee. Fair enough. Well, I wasn't harboring any resentment or anything. I just didn't want anyone else getting caught in the trap, lol. Newbies, I hope, would at least know to recall.

Completely understandable, I just didn't want you to think you were being ignored or put off, which seems to be the popular opinion these days :(
