I refuse to participate in any poll that doesn't have the option of remaining neutral.

Seems like we've visited this before. Warlocks should either get pets or have elementals not be so easily dispellable... isn't that what most people thought? Seems like letting them have pets might be easier to code... not that I know anything about that.

If the elemental is an actual, stock NPC, you might not even need a coder to make changes to it.

Just sayin'.

This argument gets tossed about so much. Often, people highlight how the warlock class is, relatively, underplayed because of obvious deficiencies. Sakhul - I thought I added one, but your neutrality on the subject does not really address the question I seek answers for because unlike Robert's Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, an abstaining vote does not necessitate a vote in the positive in the event of split majority. I suppose i'm more curious if a purchasable pet truly is the solution to fixing the class.

I've heard the debate: Warlocks have great defenses. Magma spray is weak. Resigned to the second row (to someone inexperienced). Elementals should replicate the caster's defenses.

I never claimed to be neutral in this issue. I'd just like to have that option.

Having never played a Warlock, the most obvious question I have is... are Elementals notably more powerful than pets?
