Something to do with the spirits. History of the spirits seems very lacking in the game probably because it never had a will or voice The origins of the spirits and how it correlates to the gods is nonexistent. This can easily be done by saying the gods came from the spirits or dulrik created the spirits to oversee the realm in terms of ferrying lost souls to the afterlife and bringing them back. Collection of souls to become spirits beyond the afterlife. Possibly change spirits into a religion. Elder spirit speaker inducting the privileged few chosen by the ancestors and in return they can use spirit aura. This would of course lead up to the realm of the spirits.

A floating island or castle. Preferably in space. Stick in a spelljammer ship and you have your ilithids.
Death by cthulu creatures from the beyond and a nice portal to Sigil. What's that berk? What's sigil? I gotta say there's nothing but clueless barmies like you walking the planes and rattling their bone boxes everywhere, losing their jink to the first knight of the post that happens by them. There are just no cutters around anymore. No more blood left. You'll all rot in a hardhead cell if you ever find your way to the cage. That or you'll find your way in the book.

I'll have to take a look, but there are a couple creatures around/under Tethos that I would like to see have a background.

I think actually more attention needs to be given to Fytrysks as well. They're very prominent in many places throughout and would deserve more.

I also think the location for the new area needs to be somewhere along the western coast of either Taslamar or southern Ayamao. There's really not much over in that direction of interest, contrary to the eastern coast of the main continent.

What I would really like to see is something like the tower of the elephant, like the conan story. I've been wanting to make something with traps in it for rogues to disarm, I tried once but my idea never got built. I'd be happy to be a building assistant again and help with this. I haven't worked on an area since the Taslamaran palace.

Here is what I would like to see included: This may be massively hard to build.

- A way the climb skill could be used to scale a wall and gain entry to a tower or keep through a window. So that you could enter a room with the climb skill and not have to go through the mundane entrance anyone can use and have to work your way there from room to room.

- A trap that has to be disarmed by a dexterity check or something. Or a way that the plant skill could be used to disarm a trap. something fun for rogues.

- Rope being made a tool somehow so that when you hold it say your climb skill goes up by 25 percent or something. This is more of a code thing then a building thing.

- MORE SCOUT PETS! Just seems to me that there is only a selection of like 5 pets people use. I made a scout pet for my tower but it wasn't used.

- More quests. I love the way the struggle in the VOA is told to pcs and started with a quest. More stuff like this to get people involved. Especially since you can't just pile up a bunch of quests and quest through champ now, you have to use them at the right level I'd like to see more. Maybe a quest to retrieve the evil wizards heart and give it to a group of meissa priests for safe keeping so he can't come back to life.

- I would like to see the area themed around either a living wizard or a dead wizard who's tower is crumbling and many horrifying creatures are loose in it.

I have many more ideas if this is for Ayamao.

Here is my other idea. It would be like the wandering legion only it would not leave Ayamao. It would be like a mongolian hoarde from out of the zhensh desert that has travelled west into Ayamao from east of chibenuie. it would be bent on conquest, treasure, raping and pillaging and the pcs have to find and stop it!

It would have lots of scout NPCs, scout pets, scout trainers, barbarians, primitive wizards and shaman. It would roam around and if you go in you have to fight for your life. Or think for it. Maybe if you go around hidden/invis you can't be seen and you pick and choose your fights. This idea appeals to me alot.

I like both these ideas.

Maybe sometime in the long future. I don't want to reveal too much, but although the new area has the potential to be pretty independent, it is a sub-area of an already existing spot. It would make no sense to connect it to the DS. That, and after a year, I am a little DS-burned-out.

Yeah, that crossed my mind also, given that we've roughly 150 recycled vnums. The idea was to either go up (sky,) down (underground) or throw in a portal. I am less inclined to do the portal thing though, because I am pretty adamant about linking it to the geographical surroundings.

As for the level of the area, after reviewing some of the existing ones, I feel that with recent additions there are enough of them that cover the more prominent levels. On the main continent too. I'll probably try to fill in some gaps around veteran-expert or expert-mentor.

An area with a conflict between two races would be cool. Maybe a spiritulistic race would get attacked by a semi corporeal soul devouring race. Angered by the devastation wrought upon their ancestors they would retaliate. Sky islands sound cool too.
