So yeah. I suck at riddles and have a hard time even with small ones. Also, anyone can fail at an oracle attempt with a mistype etc. Things like that. With the recent player numbers, especially of a morning where there are 0 priests, much less warlocks or people who can raise, can it be changed so that after so long in the river or swamp you can try again at the oracle ? Is there sucha method in place to begin with that I don't know of?

Reason I ask is of course, death is inevitable when exploring etc and the swamp after the oracle is pretty much like a jail cell albeit larger in which you can't really do anything until someone can raise you. Also, depending on where you die, a corpse isn't always available. Anywho, it's 4 am and i'm going to bed.

What do you guys think? Is there a way to repeat the oracle if you fail it ? Just curious.

There's reincarnation. You can pray to the gods but usually I take stuff from your corpse if I give an IMM rez.

I'd let you loot me completely if I got a rez out of the deal.

You could check multiple sites that provide OOC information for the answers. Or just reincarnate. Levels come easy nowadays.

There's no shame in asking for help. I don't like seeing players experience grief over SK. If cheating means having a good experience that keeps one interested, oh well.

Personally, I'd be open for allowing players to retry at the Oracle, but the timer would be sufficiently large that you would most likely stumble across a priest before the timer expired.

If you manifest to another player, then go back to the afterlife, it resets death quests for you.

Not IC info.
Dulrik told us years ago.
