Ill start just because I confronted someone IC about it and I was not sure OOC if its against the rules so here it goes.

Is it against the rules to hide out in newbie grounds? When you know there are enemy's looking for you? I mean its an area they have no possible way to enter. So I am just wanting to know is it against the rules or just bad taste?

Fairly certain this is against the rules. Mentors are given access to the newbie grounds to assist newbies, not hide from enemies.

That should answer your question. Now, if you have your OOC buddy roll a character for you to "mentor" when being hunted by your enemies, thats another story.

Definitely against the rules. If you see someone doing this, either report them or start spam-killing them.

It's against the rules, but I won't fault you if you hide in there to avoid getting ganked by me, like Tressa did.

Against the guidelines in the mentor help files. You can and will lose your mentor status for hiding in the mentor-only rooms.
