Okay. I can make a sorc, and find a teacher for absolutely everything on my skill/spell list that will go to Superb+. (Including Final Strike. <--Wtf.)

Make another class, and I get stuck with stuff at like 'average' and 'fair'. Can we either put other advanced trainers in easier to find areas that make sense, or add them if we need them? And don't have two easy to find trainers who teach the same things to superb. It's so annoying to only be able to find a few advanced teachers for your class and some of them teach the same couple of damn things. Or they teach useless crap.

I mean, stuff for sorc, one quick example that has always stuck out in my mind. You can get gate (expert/mentor spell?) to superb like 3 rooms away from Ayamao stones, and all the rest are not hard to find at all. Sure there are [REDACTED] teachers like Saisua out in the middle of nowhere, but Saisua is actually completely useless since you can find teachers just as good in other areas.

I know where the advanced trainers for sorcs are, but not where the advanced trainers for other classes are. Some of the advanced trainers for sorcs are in obvious places, too. WTF?!?

Yeah that's rough.

I ony read the original post. I've made a similar complaint via the Idea log command. So, we're in agreement essentially. I wouldn't mind seeing trainers tweaked. It used to be adventure to find skills and spells now it's just overkill with advanced trainers.

Let me say this though, I never ever want to see advanced trainers for final strike taken out. Final strike is not a spell you can practice, and it is a spell that if you need it, it has to work. You don't want to screw that up.

Let me follow that by saying, finding a final strike teacher teacher should be hard to do. Finding an advanced teacher should be even more difficult then that.

Also, if NPC's can be advanced teachers, then I think level 50 pcs should be able to teach better then mentors. I would like mentor level pcs to be able to teach to good, master/champ to very good, and maybe GM to superb. This is just a thought though, It might be fairly unbalanced to have everyone getting mentored by GM friend so that alot of their skill list is superb straight away.
