I've been laughing my [REDACTED] off ever since I submitted that. It's like my masterpiece.

The guy that you trained level at 5 times in order to advance out of the taslamaran academy is scripted to send you a tell that informs you of what happens when you get beyond amateur, and in fact is also scripted to tell you how many more advancements you have left until that happens.

So unless you're a new player who also power-levels and doesn't read anything that anyone tells you, you're hardly left to fend for yourself as soon as you hit novice from the taslamaran academy. Even the recall command still takes you to the taslamaran inn.

There is also a google worldmap and any other number of maps and help files that would likely lead the curious back to familiar locations.
