how to improve warlocks.

1.) Make some more(not all) of their spells ignore MP. (IE: Don't let all cone of cold/fireball/chain lightning at the same time ignore MP, that'd OP the class a bit)
2.) Get rid of the timer that warlocks have after their elemental dies, sure, let the elemental go away after a certain time, or if it dies, but don't leave them elementaless for a stupid period of time.
3.) Allow warlocks to buy pets >_<
4.) Fiddle to make stone skin slightly stronger.
5.) Flaming chickens. >_<

Bards NEED nothing. Bards would become applicable frontline fighters with shield block. Meditation would just be gravy.

No they wouldn't. The hp base of the bard class isn't high enough to justify it.

I remember reading something that Mitch posted once about Destrivai being tough and taking hits, but then I remembered that Destrivai was pre-hp train cap and shields were *a lot* better during his lifetime. Plus I had a pet that made up the damage difference.

What about making elementals dispel-proof, and...making the fire elemental a barbarian instead of a merc?

That'd be easy I think and somewhat make up for their spells doing JACK for damage (despite them being the only damage-focused caster...).

Barbarian might be a good thing. Should also adjust them so that they can get the maximum 5 wild fighting attacks. I know that's a problem with the fire elemental since even though they are auto hasted they never get more than 3 attacks.

Elemental timer is [REDACTED]. If you make an elemental and die, you have to wait like an hour after getting rezzed. Just make them permanent, with a way to 'banish' your elemental so you can get a different one.

Make them better, so that the fire elemental isn't the only one worth using. Instead of having the type of elemental being the important part, make them all useful, in different ways.

Get rid of the throw code.

Earth elementals aren't so bad!

I'd say if you die, you can make a new elemental upon life, you can't just send away one to get a new one though, I think that timer should stay.

also throwing...make them throw less!
