rv/ solid limestone walls tower above you, completely surrounding
*- the city and any view inside. There is a set of huge
#rr gates, which look to be the only way past the walls. Looking
inside you can see soldiers guarding the area. A first
quarter moon hangs in the sky. It's clear, cool, and windy.

The Crossroads of Pyrathia
This area appears to be in far better repair than the rest of the streets
of the city. The street beneath your feet has been paved with what looks
like a single piece of red granite accented with strips of white. North
Main Street leads off to the north while Mordeth road crosses the square and
heads to the west and to the east toward a stone bridge. Despite the well
maintained surface, litter and bits of wooden debris are scattered about the
ground. There is a particularly obnoxious-looking street sign here as well.

This river is very wide and is moving at a surprising rate
#- of speed. The river churns violently upon the many large rocks
#*r which line the banks and the riverbed, thus the river is named.

rry high as far as the eyes can see in almost every direction. Very

A heavy bamboo forest
The forest of tall bamboo reeds stretches in all directions
Fff around you. They look heavily packed together, blocking your way
f*f and making it hard to see very far. Each path looks identical,
ffF making you quickly lose your sense of direction. The ground is
covered in palm and the occasional bamboo tree, fallen and
blocking the path. You can barely see the sky above you if you look
straight up through the canopy, and the wind blows through here making the
trees bend and creak. A waning crescent moon hangs in the sky. It's
mostly clear, hot, and there is absolutely no wind.
