Was polymorph recently changed to not adjust your stat maximums to the new race stat maxes, and if so, was this an intended change?

Just curious. I could have sworn that when I rolled Antiira your stat maximums adjusted to the polymorphed race, but they definitely don't anymore.

It used to change to the new race's stat maxes, but I haven't used the spell recently to confirm that it no longer does.

They did before.

Aldric used to use the wand to poly into a delf so he could have 25int without XYZ.

Maybe it's something to do with your age?

Almost positive it's not an age thing. Antiira hasn't even hit the first age tick, and even if he had, polymorph used to calculate your "polymorphed age" by adding your played years to the starting age of the new race. For example, a 201 year old elf (100 years since creation) would be a 116 year old human, and would keel over and die almost as soon as polymorphing (Learned that one from experience).

Now, however, if I poly into an elf I can't get into the dynamic charisma range, regardless of how many mods I wear. I'm pretty sure I used to be able to do that. As well, I keep my INT max from being a deep-elf.

Honestly this change favors me, but I want to make sure that it was on purpose.

Polymorph definitely used to adjust your racial maximums. Can I see a log of this not happening?

Well if this is true, has the aging thing been changed too? Might as well be if there's no other benefit.. Tired of only beeing able to poly in to half-elf and elf now if I want to stay medium.

One has to wonder if this is the only change that was introduced for polymorph.
