Out of curiosity, is there any ongoing investigation into this? Polymorph still doesn't change stat maxes like it used to a little over a month ago.

I like this, it makes sorcerors even more powerful than they already were. That's exactly what they needed. Maybe people will use polymorph as a tactical device now? It wasn't really used often in this way in the past.

It definitely makes delf sorcs much more powerful, and might make human sorcs more powerful. It is definitely a nerf to helf and griffon sorcs, and possibly a nerf to elf/gnome/sprite sorcs.

It doesn't buff sorcs as a whole: All this change really does is favor high INT casters, namely humans and deep-elves, which didn't need to happen as they were already arguably the best before.

It's also a buff to high strength rogues and a nerf to low strength rogues.
