Do not play a female.

Well, unless you play a griffon female, OR you are a male IRL... or a female. You know what? Everyone only play female and all the problems will fix themselves. PD, can I call you PD? I take your words out of context and go beyond in saying that is a ridiculous suggestion.

If you can RP both genders and neuter at least semi-properly, you deserve to play a game that is RP enforced. I would dare say you shouldn't be able to play it unless you can do such a thing, but that rally would be going too far.

Anyway, this thread deserves a companion thread with no BS. A yes or no poll. And here it comes.

After spending 20 mins with Davvyen and his buddies, I realized that no sex is safe from it.

Within 4 minutes of being around Davvyen, I was groped, kisses, goosed, hugged, tickled and fondled. Im not calling it Harassment because it was not done to me, but a character in a video game, without 'pictures' of them doing it. OMG I Just read I got raped! See.. It says right there...

By and large the problem with rape in SK is that you people are terrible at it.

You know what?

I'mma do y'all a favor.

Brace yourselves.

This thread's about to hit a whole new level.

Back when I was a playa I often recruited players to help satisfy libido. I had devised "Grep's Manifesto" as a guideline for what I wanted.

I noticed a need for the raping guide and realized that the one I had posted a while back was not recognized for what it meant, so I'm simplifying it here.

This was never supposed to be THE way intimate roleplay should be done, but simply the way I asked for them to do. Plenty of great sex in SK violates all sorts of these rules. Pun not intended... maybe.

PART 1: THE MANIFESTO

OVERALL RULES
1. Be imaginative! You can follow all the rest of these rules to the letter and still make a sucky rapist. Be creative, be interesting. Write each action as if THIS will be the one you will be judged on, the one which the entire event will be judged on. Write quality rape!
2. Every action and description should be long but not so long that most people gag on it. Any less makes the rapist look desperate or rushed, and any more makes the rapist look pretentious or not excited.
3. Actions speak louder than words, but sometimes, actions warrant some decoration. Don't say "emote is so hot for you right now," but instead, say something like "emote lasciviously licks gently smiling lips, and all but hides her rapid, pulsing heartbeats evident in her breast beneath a piercingly intent and mischievous gaze." Show me how you are hot rather than just stating the obvious.
4. Being repetitive is a quick way to be boring. Using multiple senses can help prevent you from falling into this trap: alternating between the appearance of a maiden's bosom and the supple, milky softness as it incidentally grazes your thigh can help keep those fires hot!
5. Color codes are fairly kitschy. Use them sparingly and only when there is no other way to emphasize what you want to communicate.
6. Formatting is not overly important. Spend less time trying to figure out how to pemote something and more time considering the substance of the sensations; remember, taking your time to deliver quality already slows you down. Don't risk losing more interest getting hung up on details.
7. Send as few OOC questions and comments as possible. Instead of asking, "ooc: hey, are you okay with heavy impact?" allow the player to react negatively to a subtle proposal, such as, "pemote eyes roll back in her head, and in her throes draws back a hand in an aggressive gesture. She pauses only a moment to look down over her nose in an intense expression punctuated with fiery eyes almost daring resistance." That way you can ask questions without breaking character, which is important and one of the fundamentals of keeping a scene's momentum.
8. Never use "you." You really don't know who is watching; do you really want to potentially be doing that to Khore? The best thing to do is commit what is usually a faux pas: use the passive voice to avoid declaring your subject. This way awkwardness like whether to use adjectives, names, and so forth don't present themselves in your roleplay.
9. Never assume permission, because you cannot really ask for forgiveness. As mentioned earlier, learning to reap and sow informative interactions is one of the most important skills in intimate roleplay.
10. Don't assume a non-human character works like one. It could lead to some very awkward moments. Be mindful of accepted traits and limitations, and work within these norms or, at least, provide some rationale for why you're breaking them. Acknowledging the game universe your heavenly bodies gyrate and collide within is part of maintaining a respectable form.
11. Spelling errors happen. Don't worry about correcting a typo unless it is really bad or slightly funny; chances are there are more important things in the sentence to pay attention to than a wrong letter.

Nope.

You really should avoid knives.
