Question, can they ban a cabal even if they do not know all the members of a cabal?

Silly to apply to characters who don't have the leadership skill yet, then, no?

Or is this to encourage a return to the elitist system of not inducting anyone before a certain level?

This change was implemented so people would stop abusing the diplomacy status by being at war with their allies in order to bring their own law NPCs to assist with the defense.

As for the main topic of the thread, I completely agree with people not getting outlawed for attacking a banished person. It was my awesome idea after all.

:D

Someone else would have done it, better to have it fixed sooner than later.

How exactly do you expect someone without access to the code to accomplish such a feat?

Besides, leadership or not, they're still members of the warring tribunal. I'm not really a fan of this change, but it was certainly a necessary one given the abuse.

I still say it wasn't abuse, and I had a logical, in-character justification for my corrupt tictacs. I still regret having that carpet swept out from under me just because some people whined on the Leadership boards.

I suppose I can take some consolation in knowing that I wasn't the only one who thought it was a good idea. Alliance has no meaning in the diplomacy settings, after all.

Playing in a tribunal must be really boring without F3-type Leadership, that's all I have to say. You lose a lot and gain, what? Buffs? And clumsily-behaving guards? It's only good if you can just kite guards that make a difference.

It was abuse.

Now whether or not alliances should come with greater benefits is a discussion for another time.
