That's only cause you're not in a tribunal. Having your own tribunal guard in the fight really changes things. Especially if you have Waish to keep them from walking away.
No, it isn't. Tribunals guards chase when they're hit with ranged combat, so the scout just has an intermediate step of shooting your trib guard, running around a corner to kill it when it chases past some guards, THEN going back to plan A.

They do? I've tried multiple times to lure tribunal guards away from their groups while they're not in combat and they don't walk away...Is it just some do or some don't cause that tactic doesn't work for me. I tried it against Gervais and Baltus and they stayed with their groups, and they were not in combat.

Do you have a log of this? Tribunal guards, in my experience, always walk away from their group and go looking for whoever hit them with arrows or magic missile or flamestrike or whatever.

No log but it's happened against Ariya and Baba with an air elemental and Gervais and Baltus...I'll try it again next time and post it but it's happened multiple times to me.

Also depends on if you attempt to lure or if you have a NPC try to lure.... Trib NPCs won't chase if your NPC hits them with flamestrike.

Interesting. Are you sure the guard NPCs weren't prone?

Was this in the Moot, because those guards run to report rather than chase.

Yeah it was in the moot. So because they were not in friendly territory rather than chase they stay still? Laaaaaaaame

Neconct I think Terrus is talking about trying to lure away tribunal NPCs from OTHER countries while in the moot. Meaning, Baba running around with the air elemental, air elemental gets magic missiled, air elemental doesn't chase.

I've seen this happen a few times but every time I've been involved the NPC was already in combat with bounty guards or was prone. Interestingly, after we killed the bounty guards our guard NPC still didn't chase.

I've never seen a tribunal guard NPC do what he's saying though, namely, get hit with a ranged attack while not in combat/prone and fail to give chase.
