Is anyone else having an issue with the forums not making topics and sections read?

I sure am. I have to press the "mark all topics read" button for them to keep popping up.

Minor inconvenience, but still irritating.

that has happened to me a few times, as well as being dropped from faith/cabal boards fairly regularly as of late. It is fixable, but as you said a bit on the irritating side.

This happens to me when I use multiple browsers or computers to log into.

I'm not sure if this is a factor or not, but I always use the shatteredkingdoms.org domain name when logging into the forum. If you are using the .com domain name, the forum cookies might get confused.

I always use .org, but use the same computer and always firefox for every log-in. I tried to reboot/etc that was suggested, but it's still doing it *shrug*

Like I said, not really a huge deal, just a little irritating.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! :)

It's cookie-based, so try removing all SK-related cookies.

I'd also suggest ensuring that the "www." prefix is present when accessing the forums - that can also confuse things too.

I deleted pyton yet I still have access to the harly and elemental forums. The forum site won't update. I wonder if I make another character from a cabal what will happen. Will I be able to see the new forum if I do?

No cause I don't have access to the leader forums, you will get a flag, but I believe it has to be manually updated

This is correct. Due to the upgrade of the phpbb platform, any major changes to our old platform were disabled - The most visible of these was the automatic linking of the forumID command in game and the forums.

All forumID commands (and I am sure related entries for deleted or removed characters) are still placed in a log for manual addition or removal from forums.
