The reasons are these:

1. Bonanzas come with some sort of expectation of Global/Imm-facilitated Roleplay.
2. No IMM wants to commit to doing one each weekend. (nor schedule a rotation - it is a little absurd to expect 1 imm to do them all. ahem, staff)

Would making a global rp every week be that difficult? I am not sure how large the pantheon is these days, but I doubt it should be that hard. Leading an orc war party into Exile, an immortal presenting himself to the mortals for their own amusement, a grand quest of sorts, a scavanger hunt, set up battles, an NPC coming around for story time, the seven plagues unleashed, hero events, etc. I do not believe these events have to be so grand that they will be remembered for years to come, nor have great impact. So long they are interesting enough to bring players online, and together for some fun.

LOL at me being the reigning hero of sorcs. That cracks me up.

And has there really not been a hellion hero since Falgos or a warlock hero since Aase? Wow.


Some new heroes would be cool. That restore item is too powerful for melee classes, though, imo.

Allow Paragons to gain limited building abilities for a short time and allow them to act as a Game Master to run their own modual. I think more events would lead to more fun and more people. Allow people to make an impact, even a small one. An alternateing GM schedual open for bid by those who have held paragon the longest. If they fail to meet the deadline or abuse the power then remove their ability to bid and/or punish them as need be. Create mini angels that have limited power give them like a week or two to prepare, on their day they are given the chance to run their modual for the weekend, then shut down the angel account and rotate it till the next person comes into play. Might take a bit of coding on Dulrik's part, but I think people would have a blast with modules, and would give them a reason to strive for paragon and maintain it. It would also gives imms a break.
