The correct response to this is to PK your "superior" officer into deletion and tell the story that they were driven made by power and stress.

I love how basically being the only person online can go to people's heads, though. Leadership is not a position of OOC authority; if anything, it a position of stewardship. If a leader's afraid of making enemies, they shouldn't lead an organization. Drew taught me that.

Also, have some perspective, cubanoh. Some people can't play SK 16 hours a day to work on things like character development. :drunk:

He said he was tarnished for a week.

Evena blemished my priest for a week once. Now we're BFFs.

Best thing to do is quietly roll with things and plan your own revenge within what you're capable of. There is no fairness; just look at all the alleged incidents of imm favoritism/excessive force.

The roleplay surrounding your blemishment (and subsequent absolving) was not only ICly justified, but executed while you were logged in.

I dunno. I'd probably be kind of miffed at this too, were I not given the opportunity to defend myself while actually logged into the game.

Well, he did repeat the (sever) action that his superior did forbid. IMO his tarnish/removal is perfectly justified.

A murder charge is not a full enough story for a leader who isn't looking for a reason, especially with the way things work out for law codes. Other second-hand sources are equally dubious, for the sake of the point. It's worth fighting against a precedent, I guess.

Removing someone from a tribunal or cabal should be a last resort, IMO. And DEFINITELY done while the player is at least online, if not in the room.

I mean, is there roleplay involved in typing "tribunal uninduct?"

Well, obviously, he should have waited until Treefinger and the guy he killed were online at the same time, ordered Treefinger to commit seppuku before the guy, tarnished him if he did, and uninducted him if he didn't.

Unless they fixed the bugs (which I heard still exists), there are ways to make people look guilty according to the law code. No matter the excuse that they give, not doing it while the offender (treefinger) is online to defend himself, is worth being slapped a poor rp stick at worst demotion of the leader. This is why people leave because things are done behind peoples backs without explanation. Or IMM favortism happens.
